Skins: Included
Total Care Websites have several skins to chose from to define the design of your website. A skin is simply a pre-built template that has a certain look and feel to it. This site, for example, was created from one of our available skins.
We will do light customization to these skins to give you a customized look and feel. For example, we can normally change the pictures of a skin very easily. Several skins also have color variations, so they have the same overall layout but are in different colors. Modules can also easily be moved around to different zones within a page. This often has a big effect on how the page looks.
Changing to a different skin, whether it's to a different color scheme or to a totally different layout, and doing light customizations to those skins to give you a sharp and professional edge, is all part of the Total Care Websites package. |

Custom Design: Premium Service
At some point, you might decide that you're looking for a very specific design for your websites and none of the skins have exactly what you are looking for. We're happy to do it for you! This is the demarcation point, however, between what is included with monthly Total Care Websites fees versus hiring Elegant Software Solutions to do custom design work for you.
Our graphic designers will work with you to design and build your site to your custom specifications. This type of engagement is done on an hourly basis. The customized site will still be run by the Total Care Websites service and you'll still enjoy all of its benefits!
People often like to add custom Flash or Silverlight content to their sites as well. Flash are Silverlight allow websites to display movie like animations. This type of work is also considered custom design and is done on an hourly basis. |
